Indian ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah once again delivered a crucial breakthrough during India’s clash against South Africa in Match No. 43 of the T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight (Group A) on February 22 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Bumrah was introduced into the attack in the second over of the innings. On the fifth ball of the over, he struck gold by dismissing Quinton de Kock. The left-handed batter attempted an aggressive slog and misjudged the delivery as it nipped back sharply. The ball tailed in and stayed slightly low, beating the wicketkeeper-batter on the inside edge before crashing into the leg stump.
Using the crease cleverly, Bumrah went slightly wide to generate the perfect angle, creating just enough movement to outfox the South African opener. De Kock was dismissed for six runs off seven deliveries, including one boundary.
Jasprit Bumrah wastes no time and removes the danger man, Quinton de Kock, in this all-important Super 8 clash. 🔥
