Italy’s Anthony Mosca produced a moment of brutal power-hitting during their chase against Nepal at the T20 World Cup 2026. Facing left-arm spinner Lalit Rajbanshi in the fourth over, Mosca showcased fearless intent against the experienced Nepali spinner.
On the final ball of the over, Rajbanshi tossed one up, with the ball landing on the leg side. Clearing his front leg, the Italian opener sunk low and unleashed a ferocious slog-sweep over mid-wicket, as the ball sailed a massive 84 meters into the stands.
The shot wrapped up an expensive over that yielded 19 runs, putting immediate pressure on Nepal. At that stage, Italy had raced to 50/0, with Anthony Mosca setting the tone for the innings.
