The clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, April 27. The two teams are currently among the favorites to make it to the playoffs this season.

The Capitals are currently second on the points table while the Bengaluru franchise is third which makes this encounter one of the games to look out for. Former India cricketer turned Pundit Aakash Chopra has also given his insights on the upcoming game and has claimed that it might be the match of the tournament. Chopra also talked about the pros and cons of the DC batting lineup where he feels that there might be a time where the lineup may struggle at some point as the tournament moves forward.

“In whose favor are the scales tilted? Since they are on the road, I will say the scales are tilted towards RCB. However, this could be the game of the tournament. This game will be enjoyable, I feel DC’s batting is working thus far, but will get stuck someday for sure. They have been doing a decent job, but I feel something might get stuck. It may be this game, or it might just be my thinking, and it might never happen,” Chopra said on his YouTube Channel.

They are still playing with only three overseas players: Aakash Chopra

Chopra also shared that the Capitals seem to go with a pro-India side, where they are only playing three overseas players. The former opener brought up the absence of Jake Fraser-McGurk and Faf du Plessis and talked about the franchise showing trust in Nair and Porel at the top.

“The home team has gone towards all made in India, although they finally decided to play Dushmantha Chameera. However, they are still playing with only three overseas – (Tristan) Stubbs, (Mitchell) Starc, and Dushmantha Chameera, I still don’t know what’s the news about Faf du Plessis. It doesn’t seem like they wish to play Jake Fraser-McGurk currently. So what this team will do, I have got no idea. Abishek Porel and Karun Nair might only be seen opening,” the cricketer-turned-commentator added.
