Meanwhile, RCB haven’t got off to a memorable start in the ongoing IPL season having won just one game out of three played so far. They began the season with a six-wicket loss against Chennai Super Kings in the opening game but later made a brilliant comeback with a four-wicket win over Punjab Kings in the second fixture.

RCB lost their last fixture against KKR

However, the Faf du Plessis-led side failed to continue their winning momentum and lost their third fixture against KKR by seven wickets. The only positive for RCB in the first two games has been the form of Virat Kohli who’s the leading run-scorer of the season so far with 181 runs to his name from three innings at an average of 90.50.

They will next take on Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday, April 02 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru and will look to bounce back to winning ways.
