Star Indian batter Sanju Samson, who was once considered a contender for taking the wicket-keeping duties in the Indian team following injuries to Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul, has faced difficulties in finding a place in the team. His poor performance in the West Indies has contributed to this challenge, along with the exceptional batting performances of Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul in the Asia Cup 2023.
Unfortunately, Samson has not been included in the World Cup squad nor in the Indian Asian Games squad. Furthermore, he has been omitted from the squad set to play a three-match ODI series before the start of the ODI World Cup.
In response to this disappointment, Samson shared a cryptic post on Facebook, featuring a smiling emoji. Fans have been supportive, with one commenting, “Bro…be proud of what you have achieved so far,” and another encouraging him to “stay strong champ.”
