Star India batter Rinku Singh has made quite a name for himself in recent years. Ever since his blistering five-sixes knock in the IPL 2023, Rinku Singh has been shot to fame. Establishing himself as a regular for team India in the shortest format, Rinku has continued to give it his all for Kolkata Knight Riders as well.

However, according to recent reports, Rinku Singh seems to have taken a big step in his personal life. The star batter has reportedly got engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj. His fiancee recently made headlines by becoming an MP at just 25 years old. Saroj won the Machhlishahr constituency seat in Uttar Pradesh during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

It is worth noting that the engagement ceremony was reportedly a private affair which was only attended by close family and friends.

Rinku expected to shine in IPL 2025

Rinku Singh will once again be seen in action in the upcoming edition of the IPL (Indian Premier League) 2025. The star batter was retained by defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping INR 13 crore. Rinku will once again look to put in his best performances in the new season of the IPL.

It is worth noting that Kolkata Knight Riders were exceptional in the IPL 2024. The side performed brilliantly throughout the tournament and managed to win the title as well, clinching the trophy after they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the summit clash of the tournament.

Taking part in the IPL 2025 mega auction, KKR roped in the likes of Ajinkya Rahane, Rovman Powell, Moeen Ali, and many more star players in the side. They will look to replicate their showing in the IPL 2025 as well, and hope to defend their title and get their hands on their potential fourth IPL title.
