Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were seen rolling their arms over during a net session in the PSL 2025. Ahead of the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, the star duo casually bowled in the nets at the Islamabad Club. PSL’s official handle took to social media and posted the stills from their practice session.

Multan and Peshawar have not had a good time in the PSL 2025 so far. Both are in the last two positions in the points table, suffering two losses in both of their matches. Peshawar, in particular, has suffered two massive losses, which have led them to attain a negative net run rate of -4.550.

Take a look at PSL’s post here –

It will take a big win for Zalmi to return to form. For that to happen, Babar must step up, as he hasn’t been able to play a significant knock neither for Peshawar in the PSL, nor for Pakistan in international cricket in a long time. Multan might start as the favourites, as they have played fairly better than Peshawar.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam’s performances in the PSL 2025

Babar has been the worst batter for his side in the ongoing season. The star batter has a solitary run in two innings at an average of 0.50 and a strike rate of 20.00. He must step up and play a match-defining knock. On the other hand, Rizwan has had a better campaign in the ongoing season for the Sultans.

The star batter has been the highest run-scorer for Multan in their first two matches. The Sultans opener has 143 runs in two innings at a sensational average of 143.00, at a strike rate of 158.88, including a best score of 105*.

While Rizwan has led his team from the front, their team hasn’t been able to claim a win. Sultans have the best chance to open their account, as they will be up against a more vulnerable team. Their match will take place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on April 19 at 8:30 PM (IST).
