India’s one of the best batters, Rohit Sharma, is known for his quirky replies during interviews and public interactions off-the-field and even with the teammates during live matches. This time, he engaged with a bunch of young fans who innocently asked him about the techniques to dismiss him while he bats.

A video went viral on social media where Rohit was seen giving a cheeky reply to the young fan and making the kids burst into laughter. This happened ahead of MI’s match against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 2, which is scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

During an interaction, the young fan asked Rohit, “Sir aapko kaise out karne ka (Sir how to get you out)?” To which Rohit replied, “Nahi wo nahi ho sakta (No, that cannot happen).” They ended up having a light-hearted laughter after listening to Rohit’s answer.

The Mumbai-based franchise showed a great comeback in the ongoing IPL 2025. They had won just one out of five games in the beginning, but then went on to win six back-to-back matches and qualified for the Playoffs, on the basis of consistent performances during the fag end of the league stages of the ongoing edition of the marquee event.

The 38-year-old star batter played a stunning innings in the Eliminator of the IPL 2025 against the Gujarat Titans (GT) and knocked the team out of the race. He scored 81 runs off 50 balls at a phenomenal strike-rate of 162. It was an incredible performance by the right-handed better, as he was smart enough to convert the chances he got on the field.

There were some dropped catches of the Nagpur-born in the initial overs, but he continued to play an attacking game and helped MI score 228-5 at the end of the first innings. Even though GT’s players did try their best to win the game, 229 was too far-fetched. They lost the game by 20 runs and were out of the Playoffs, as MI are now set to face Punjab Kings in the Eliminator on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
