The match officials have been announced for the ICC Women’s U19 T20World Cup 2025 semi-finals in Malaysia.

India’s Gayathri Venugopalan and Nitin Bathi of the Netherlands will be in the middle for the first of the semi-finals between South Africa and Australia. Ireland’s Aidan Seaver will serve as the third umpire with Reon King, of the West Indies, the referee for that encounter.

In the second semi-final, between India and England, the two on-field umpires will be Ashlee Gibbons of Australia and South Africa’s Kerrin Klaaste. Candace La Borde, of the West Indies, will be the third umpire with Australia’s David Gilbert serving as referee.

Meanwhile, it will be a rematch of the final from two years ago as reigning champions Indi, take on 2023 runners-up England at the Bayuemas Oval.

Both the teams are undefeated heading into the semi-final stage, with India in red-hot form, creating a supremacy on the back of Gongadi Trisha, who has scored 230 runs in five innings at an average of 76.66 and a strike rate of 155.40. India boast the competition’s two leading wicket-takers as well, with Vaishnavi Sharma and Aayushi Shukla bagging 12 and 10 scalps respectively.

On the other hand, England have been hampered by the weather at times, but have three wins to their name in the matches which have survived the conditions. The day’s first semi-final will see South Africa and Australia lock horns.
