Kuldeep Yadav has completed 200 wickets in One-Day Internationals, reaching the landmark by dismissing Keemo Paul in the second ODI between India and West Indies. The left-arm wrist-spinner achieved the feat in his 123rd ODI appearance, becoming only the third Indian bowler to reach 200 ODI wickets in fewer than 125 matches.

Among Indian bowlers, only Mohammed Shami has reached the milestone in fewer matches. Shami took 104 ODIs to complete 200 wickets, while Ajit Agarkar reached the landmark in 133 matches. Zaheer Khan needed 144 matches, while Anil Kumble and Javagal Srinath both took 147 ODIs.

Kuldeep, meanwhile, is the fastest Indian spinner to reach 200 ODI wickets. No other Indian spinner has reached the landmark in fewer appearances.

Kuldeep’s achievement becomes even more significant when measured by the number of deliveries he needed to reach 200 ODI wickets. The Indian spinner completed the milestone after bowling 6,319 balls, putting him third among spinners in ODI history.

Pakistan’s Saqlain Mushtaq leads the list, having reached 200 wickets in 5,451 deliveries. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is second with 5,782 balls, while Kuldeep sits third with 6,319 deliveries.

Kuldeep is followed by Australia’s Adam Zampa, who needed 6,385 balls to reach 200 ODI wickets. England’s Adil Rashid took 6,881 deliveries, while Australian great Shane Warne reached the milestone after bowling 6,983 balls.
