The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will want to carry their momentum from the last game when they take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Eliminator of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at The Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh on Wednesday, May 27.

RR come into the game on the back of a convincing win against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium to book their place in the last four. The inaugural champions will be looking to reach their first IPL final since 2022, where they lost to the Gujarat Titans.

A lot of RR’s success in this season’s IPL is down to the Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Jofra Archer’s form with bat and ball, respectively. The duo will once again play a crucial role in their side’s quest to get the better of SRH.

Here is RR’s strongest predicted XI vs SRH, Eliminator, IPL 2026:

Top Order: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel (WK)

RR’s batting unit has heavily relied on their top order to provide them with good starts, and on most occasions, they do get that. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is leading their run-scoring charts with 583 runs at a ridiculous strike-rate of 232.27.

Meanwhile, both Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal have scored 458 and 397 runs, respectively, to support Sooryavanshi’s quick-fire start to the innings. The 15-year-old is one of the favourites to win IPL’s Emerging Player Award at the end of the season.

Middle Order: Riyan Parag (C), Donovan Ferreira, Shubham Dubey, Dasun Shanaka

The Royals’ middle order has been inconsistent all season. Captain Riyan Parag has shown promise of handling the middle overs, but has done so at an average of 24.72. He does have a score of 90 against the Delhi Capitals. Donovan Ferreira, on the other hand, has scored 267 runs at a strike-rate of 170.06, but has gone a few matches without a noteworthy contribution.

Ravindra Jadeja came off the bench during their game against the Mumbai Indians to score some valuable runs in the death overs to take RR to a winnable total.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, Yash Raj Punja, Brijesh Sharma

Jofra Archer is enjoying one of his best IPL seasons and has been RR’s talisman with the ball. The England international has taken 21 wickets from 14 matches this season at an economy rate of 8.76.

Brijesh Sharma, meanwhile, is enjoying a wonderful debut campaign, having taken 13 wickets from 11 wickets, two more than Ravi Bishnoi, who seems to have fallen out of favour.

RR’s predicted playing XI vs SRH in Eliminator, IPL 2026:

Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel (WK), Riyan Parag (C), Donovan Ferreira, Shubham Dubey, Dasun Shanaka, Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, Yash Raj Punja, Brijesh Sharma
