The hosts fell short despite a valiant 38 off 19 by Vipraj Nigam.

1. Chameera pulls off stunner to dismiss Anukul
It took a gravity-defying catch by Chameera to end Anukul’s single-ball innings in the middle. The ball seemed destined to travel for six after the left-handed all-rounder whipped it off his pads. However, Chameera hurled himself mid-air to hold onto a truly wonderful grab.
2. Narine’s direct hit leaves Rahul inches shy
A hesitant call by Rahul while batting with du Plessis left him marginally short of the crease at the striker’s end. Narine’s throw from short fine leg was bang on target. Rahul had to walk back for an underwhelming seven off five.
3. Vipraj fights it out till the end
At one point, Vipraj had scored only 12 off nine deliveries. However, some unreal ball-striking by the leg-spinning all-rounder made DC and their supporters believe right till the end.
