“No, I probably would’ve got divorced if I did and probably not just from my wife,” Langer said on 7Cricket.

“I would have been divorced, literally, from my wife and daughters but also from Ricky (Ponting) and (Matthew) Hayden and some of my other mates.” he added.

“I think it was just perfect timing. Stephen Fleming had come out of Chennai, and they saw the opportunity and grabbed hold of Stephen Fleming. He’ll be calm. He’s got a great cricket mind,” Langer said.

Speaking about England Test team, they are currently in action with Pakistan in a three-match series. The first game at Headingley was comfortably won by an innings and 103 runs. They will look to seal the series when they meet in the second Test at Lord’s, London starting on August 27. The third Test is scheduled on September 9 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
