The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play against the Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 27 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. Previously, when these two teams met in Bengaluru, KL Rahul slammed an unbeaten 93 runs off 53 balls, helping the visitors win the contest by six wickets.

After the victory, Rahul came up with the ‘Kantara’ celebration, stating it’s his home ground. Hence, RCB’s head coach, Sanjay Bangar, reflected on the celebration and said that since Delhi is Virat Kohli’s home ground, he might come up with a different celebration.

This season, RCB have a record of winning all their away matches. So, they might end up beating DC in their own backyard. Bangar also said that Kohli is the ‘boss’ here since it’s his home ground.

“I think Virat would do a little bit differently. I think he will show that, ‘OK, that pavilion in which you’re sitting, it’s mine’. Who’s the boss? Virat is the boss there,” said Sanjay Bangar on Star Sports.

RCB are in a good position this season with six victories in nine matches. With five matches to go, they have a strong chance of qualifying for the playoffs, as they have to win three more games. Kohli is in outstanding form, smashing 392 runs in nine matches at an average of 65.33.

Even KL Rahul has had a good season so far, amassing 323 runs in seven matches at an average of 64.60. He has also added an aggressive approach to his batting, which has helped him score boundaries and maximums frequently. He opened up about his batting during an interview and said that he realised that T20 cricket has changed, and he is trying to evolve with the game.

“I think somewhere along the way I lost that fun of hitting boundaries and hitting sixes. I wanted to take the game deep, deep, deep and that somehow stuck in my head. But now I have realised I need to go back… cricket’s changed, and T20 cricket, especially, is only about hitting boundaries. The team that hits more boundaries and sixes ends up winning the game,” said Rahul as quoted by Cricbuzz.
