Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Heinrich Klaasen was recently seen schooling a fan, who was recording the cricketer when he was walking across the hotel lobby with his family members alongside. Klaasen was visibly taken off guard with the fan recording the family at that moment and requested the fan to not engage further.

Klaasen further gave a warning to the fan and asked him to leave. The South African international said that if he turns back and finds that he and his family are still being recorded, he might end up beating the latter, bringing him down on the floor.

“Don’t do it, sorry. Listen to me very carefully. Don’t do it, okay? I said to you, ‘No, please leave.’ Don’t take a photo. If I turn around and see you take a photo of me and my family, I promise you, you will be on the floor. Okay? So turn around, and walk away, please,” Klaasen was heard saying in the viral video.

Speaking of Klaasen’s form in the ongoing IPL 2026 season, he has been enjoying his time with the bat. Klaasen, who also happens to be among the most highly paid cricketers for SRH, has already scored 415 runs in nine matches, with an astonishing average of 59.14. The Proteas cricketer, who specialises in the middle order, has already smashed four half-centuries, showing remarkable consistency throughout.

Klaasen’s superb flow with the bat has helped Sunrisers Hyderabad massively, as they have won six out of the nine games thus far and are placed third on the points table after the end of Match 42. They will be playing their next against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in a home affair, where Klaasen will look to provide vital contributions from his blade, as a win will take SRH closer to their qualification for the playoffs, which seems very likely at the moment.
