Legendary Australian opener David Warner has officially entered the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 draft, following his surprising exclusion from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction.

David Warner had declined to join PSL in 2019

Warner’s base price of INR 2 crore in the IPL 2025 auction failed to attract bidders. With no IPL commitments, Warner has turned to the PSL, registering for its draft for the first time in his career. The southpaw who has been playing actively playing franchise cricket post retirement is currently playing the Big Bash League with the Sydney Thunder.

Known for his aggressive batting style, he scored over 18,995 international runs across formats, including 49 centuries. In his career, he won the ICC ODI World Cups in 2015 and 2023, the T20 World Cup in 2021, and the World Test Championship in 2023.

PSL Season 10, scheduled to be held from April 8 to May 19, will see global stars like Warner and Tim Southee joining the draft. This will be Warner’s first outing in the PSL, a league he previously declined to join during the 2019 season.
