The T20I series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will kickstart on Sunday, June 20, at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Bangladesh are coming off a morale-boosting series triumph against Sri Lanka away. After losses in the Test and ODI series, it seemed as if they would end up on the wrong side of the result in even the 20-over segment. However, they claimed victories by 83 runs and eight wickets to finish off on a high.
Pakistan, on the other hand, last played over a month back. The T20I series was won by a dominating 3-0 margin by the hosts. Much like this series, even that one was being played at the same venue (Lahore). Pakistan hold a dominating edge over Bangladesh in this particular format.
The hosts have named the same squad from their tour to Sri Lanka. As for Pakistan, they have made a few changes in personnel. A recovering Shadab Khan and an injured Haris Rauf will be unavailable with Ahmed Daniyal, Salman Mirza, Sufiyan Muqeem, Hasan Nawaz, and Abbas Afridi being the newcomers.

The Shere Bangla National Stadium hasn’t been the most batting-conducive decks going around. Anything over 150 could prove to be a touch chase.
