The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini-auction is just around the corner, with all franchises finalizing their core squads and releasing a few players to increase their purse balance. Spin bowling has always played a pivotal role in the IPL, with Indian conditions favouring slow bowlers across venues.

Among spinners, the competition in the off-spin and left-arm orthodox spin department has been particularly fierce, and several promising names are expected to draw attention this season. Here, let us have a look at three off-spinners to watch out for in the upcoming IPL 2026 auction.

Here are three off spinners to watch out for in IPL 2026 auction

3. Harsh Dubey (Left-arm orthodox)

Vidarbha’s left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey could emerge as one of the most sought-after bowlers in the mini-auction. He represented Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) during the IPL 2025 season, coming in as an injury replacement, and impressed in his limited opportunities. In three matches, he picked up five wickets at an average of 19, showcasing maturity beyond his years.

His performances in the Ranji Trophy have been equally impressive. In the current domestic season, Dubey claimed six wickets against Nagaland, underlining his consistency and given his recent form, Dubey could attract multiple bids from franchises looking to strengthen their spin departments.

2. Manav Suthar (Slow left-arm orthodox)

Rajasthan off-spinner Manav Suthar is another name that could shine at the IPL 2026 mini-auction. Previously part of the Gujarat Titans (GT) setup in IPL 2024, Suthar has continued to make strides in domestic cricket. He recently featured in the India A vs South Africa A Test series, where he picked up three wickets.

In the Ranji Trophy, he made headlines with an eight-wicket haul against Chhattisgarh, steering Rajasthan to a memorable win. Having already taken over 100 wickets in First-Class cricket, Suthar’s ability to extract turns makes him a valuable prospect.

1. Saransh Jain (Right-arm off-spin)

Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Saransh Jain rounds off the off-spinner’s list who could go big in the mini-auction. He is known for his versatility across formats, and has impressed in the Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, and Irani Cup. He offers balance with both bat and ball, making him a true asset for any franchise.

With 158 wickets in First-Class, 31 in List A, and 18 in T20s, Jain’s numbers speak volumes about his reliability. His all-round ability and domestic experience could see him receive significant attention in the IPL 2026 mini-auction.
