Top 3 batters to watch out for in GT vs DC IPL 2025 game

Match number 35 in the Indian Premier League is set to witness the top two teams in the league battle it out. In the first game of the double header Saturday it is hosts Gujarat Titans taking on Delhi Capitals. Both sides have played six games each with Delhi becoming the first side to reach ten points for the season while Gujarat have got eight points so far from this campaign. 

Gujarat Titans saw their four-game winning streak end when they lost to Lucknow Super Giants in their previous encounter. Shubman Gill and his side will want to win the game and steer clear of the traffic that is starting to form in the middle of the table. 3- Jos Buttler 

Former England skipper Jos Buttler has taken to life with his new team with ease. So far the 34-year-old has scored 218 runs from six matches with two fifties and has an average of 43 and a strike rate of 157 which is Buttler’s highest so far in all the seasons of the IPL. Considering the track in Ahmedabad will favor the batters since it is an afternoon encounter, Jos Buttler will be a key batter for GT against a formidable DC side. 

2- KL Rahul 

Veteran Indian batter KL Rahul has been at the top of his game ever since his move to Delhi Capitals. In five games this year, Rahul has scored 238 runs with two successive fifties and averages 59 with the bat with a strike rate of 154. Rahul scored 77 against Chennai Super Kings and followed it up with 93 not out against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. After a rare failure against Mumbai Indians, the veteran batter came back to form with a composed 38 in the game against Rajasthan Royals. Delhi Capitals will be helpful that KL Rahul can play a key role with the bat again in what will be a tough encounter against Gujarat Titans. 

1- Sai Sudharsan 

23-year-old Sai Sudharsan is the second highest scorer in IPL 2025 season with 329 runs from six games. The left-handed batter began the campaign with 74 versus Punjab Kings followed by 63 versus Mumbai Indians and then 49 runs in the win over RCB away from home. In the game against Hyderabad, the young batter was out for just five runs in a rare failure. Sudharsan then scored 82 and 56 in the games against Rajasthan and Lucknow to enjoy a great start to the season. Delhi bowlers will be looking to get Sudharsan early in the game if they entertain hopes of winning the contest.
