See the predicted Sydney Thunder Women’s playing XI. The first half of the WBBL is completed and we could already see some amazing performances from some of the teams. It is the Sydney Thunder Women’s who are currently on top of the table and are looking good so far. They will want to continue their dominance going forward in the tournament and keep their winning streak alive. They are now set to play against the Perth Scorchers Women in their 6th match.
The Thunder has had a great tournament and currently have a 4 game winning streak which has got them on top of the table. They will be up against WBBL 7 champions Perth Scorchers who have had an up-and-down season so far. It will be interesting to see what combinations they will use in the upcoming match where they will be hosting them.
So, here is the predicted Sydney Thunder Women’s playing XI against the Scorchers in their next game:
Top order:

This top order has been incredible, is one of the most experienced and has been contributing a lot of runs so far. Chamari Athapaththu has played some decent knocks and has given some great overs with the ball. Georgia Voll has also scored some big runs this season and they will still have a big role to play in the upcoming game as well. Though all of them have not been absolutely consistent they could still play some great knocks when needed.
Middle order:

Heather Knight has been the best batter for the Thunder so far and though Tahlia and Learoyd are yet to show their potential they will still be backed in the next few matches as well. However, the next match will be a big test for them since they are up against a Scorchers side that will have nothing to lose as well and will want to win the game as much as they do as well.
Lower middle-order:

Both Sammy-Jo Johnson and Peschel add some depth to the squad where they could play some handy innings and bowl some great spells if required. Both of these players have not made as many contributions as are required but can still change the game with their performances when required. This will be testing times for them going into the match to keep their place in the team.
Tailender:

The bowling attack has been exceptional for the Thunder where the likes of Darlington and Ismail continue to impress with the ball and Samantha Bates has also had a great day with the ball in the last match. Overall this bowling attack looks strong and we all will be looking forward to seeing how they will perform against the strong Perth Scorchers batting lineup which will include the likes of Sophie Devine and Beth Mooney.
