IPL 2026 Match 22: KKR Predicted Playing XI vs CSK

IPL 2026 Match 22: KKR Predicted Playing XI vs CSK

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR in match 22 of the Indian Premier League on Tuesday, April 14. The Men in Yellow ended their three-match losing streak by defeating the Delhi Capitals by 23 runs.

On the other hand, KKR are still winless after their first four games in IPL 2026. The three-time champions lost to Lucknow Super Giants in their last match from a situation where they were looking destined for a victory. They have only one point in their kitty, which they earned from the washout against Punjab Kings.

KKR Predicted Playing XI vs CSK, Match 22, IPL 2026:

Top-order: Finn Allen, Ajinkya Rahane (C), and Angkrish Raghuvanshi (WK)

Finn Allen and Ajinkya Rahane have not fired in tandem so far in IPL 2026. While Rahane has been scoring decently, he will want his fellow batters to come to the party. Angkrish Raghuvanshi has delivered on his promise but the batters around him have not helped his cause.

Middle-order: Cameron Green, Rinku Singh, Rovman Powell, Ramandeep Singh, Anukul Roy

Cameron Green has not justified his price tag as yet, despite resuming bowling duties from the last game. Rinku Singh has been woefully out of from this season. He has batted slightly conservative and would want to play his natural game.

Rovman Powell has been striking the ball well since the 2026 T20 World Cup. Even in the last game he hit some lusty blows at the Eden Gardens. Ramandeep Singh and Anukul Roy have not been able to contribute with the bat as much as they would have wanted. However, the latter has fared decently with the ball.

Bowlers:  Sunil Narine, Vaibhav Arora, Navdeep Saini

Sunil Narine is going to play a key role. While the mystery spinner has only two wickets from three innings, he is still KKR’s best attacking option. Vaibhav Arora has not been able to get the same amount of swing he used to get in the previous seasons. He will have to be on the money, especially against the dangerous Sanju Samson.

Navdeep Saini has bowled at good speeds and also varied his pace every now and then. However, the 33-year-old would want to bowl with a bit more control.

KKR’s predicted playing XI:

Ajinkya Rahane (c), Finn Allen, Angkrish Raghuvanshi (WK), Cameron Green, Rovman Powell, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Anukul Roy, Sunil Narine, Vaibhav Arora, Navdeep Saini

Impact Player: Kartik Tyagi
