The eighteenth edition of the Indian Premier League saw five-time Champions Mumbai Indians take on Lucknow Supergiants in match 16 of the Indian Premier League at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bowl first. Both teams were in search of victories after losing their last fixtures. Lucknow Supergiants posted a healthy total of 203 runs for the loss of 8 wickets with the help of half-centuries from Mitchel Marsh and Adrien Markram.
