Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma, Rachin Ravindra and Virat Kohli will be the top-order batters. While Rohit hasn’t done much in the tournament, his performance in the finals was magnificent. Plus, his tactical brilliance in leading the Indian team was also important. As far as Ravindra and Kohli are concerned, they did a fine job throughout the tournament, amassing runs and scoring centuries.

Middle Order:

Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer, Glenn Phillips, Tom Latham (WK), and Axar Patel will be the middle-order batters. Except for Axar, all the players have scored a good amount of runs in the tournament. But Axar’s contributions in the Indian team were very important. He provided much-needed stability to the team. Iyer, too, was just brilliant with the bat. However, Phillips will be remembered for his stunning catches throughout the Champions Trophy.

Varun Chakaravarthy, Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry and Azmatullah Omarzai are the bowlers from different teams. The Pacers and the Spinners were brilliant with the ball, taking wickets and giving important breakthroughs to the team. Varun joined in late but ensured he took India past the victory line in each game. Henry was the top wicket-taker of the tournament. All the players gave their best and fought hard for their team.
