Popular teams MI Emirates (MIE) and Sharjah Warriorz (SW) will face off in the Eliminator match of the DP World ILT20 2025. The winner will move on to Qualifier 2 and get a chance to have a shot at the final berth as well.

The two teams’ last league stage match was against each other and SWR prevailed. As the rest of the MIE batting struggled, Tom Banton kept the innings afloat and took his side to a respectable total. From there, the other Tom took over. Tom Kohler-Cadmore shepherded the chase as his partners were happy to let him take charge until a late flourish from Matthew Wade took the Warriorz home with over two overs to spare.

While Kohler-Cadmore wasn’t a part of the teams’ other league stage match, Banton still put on a show. SWR’s batting struggled in the face of a disciplined bowling effort led by Fazalhaq Farooqi but the total was respectable regardless. Tom Banton killed any hopes the Warriorz might have had with an unbeaten century as the chase was complete with more than two overs to spare.
