The Duleep Trophy 2024 is scheduled to start on the 5th of September. The competition is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh over about three weeks.

1. Shubman Gill

2. KL Rahul 

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma appeared to be India’s long-term options for the opening position. But even though Rahul has played 50 Tests for the Indian team, outstanding performances by players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubhman Gill have caused Rahul to lose his spot. Rahul would hope to win the Duleep Trophy in 202. The 32-year-old has a stellar away record, having amassed centuries against England and South Africa. Rahul has a great chance to succeed in the competition because he has great experience at the top level.

3. Mayank Agarwal

Mayank Agarwal’s comeback to the Indian Test team has been obstructed by the rise of young players like Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The opening batter has scored nearly 1500 runs, including two double-hundreds and four centuries. In a Test match against Sri Lanka on March 12, 2022, he made his Indian debut. To get back into the national squad, he must perform at his best in the Duleep Trophy.
