The time is now for T20, the ILT Twenty league is going on in tune with the time. This is a great opportunity for UAE cricketers to prove themselves. And the cricketers there are making full use of that opportunity. Two Emirates pacers Junaid Siddiqui and Akif Reza have come to the attention for great bowling performances. These two pacers are disrupting the opponent with a storm of speed in ILT.

Junaid is playing for Sharjah Warriors. This pacer is playing great in the tournament. Junaid is also now the second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. He took 9 wickets in the tournament. His target this time is MI Emirates captain Kieron Pollard. In this context, Junaid said, “This tournament has brought us a great opportunity. It is a platform to show talent. Many big stars participate in this competition. It is a great opportunity to learn from them. Gaining experience. I like Pollard a lot, he is a T20 legend. I will try to take his wickets whenever I get a chance. I’ll make it difficult for him to bat.”

Another pacer of the tournament is playing brilliantly. Akif Reza took 6 wickets in 6 matches. This pacer is excited to take wickets of star batsmen. He said, “This tournament has been a blessing for me. I’m enjoying this tournament a lot. I’m in a good rhythm with the bowl. I’m enjoying every match, trying to give my best. T20 is a batsman-oriented game now, so getting the batsmen out is great fun. I’m giving my best; I’m helping the team by getting them out. I want to keep playing well.”

With IPL in India, BPL in Bangladesh, and Big Bash in Australia, this franchise league ILT-T20 has started this year. To make the 2023 cricket schedule busier, this international league organized by the United Arab Emirates started on January 12. This Emirates cricket war will end on February 12.

It should be noted that in this tournament all three teams are playing under the ownership of the IPL franchise. Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, Kolkata Knight Riders are playing under a different name. Although the IPL is played under franchise ownership, the format of the competition is somewhat different. As per the rules, each team has a maximum of 9 foreign players, out of which two are from partner countries and the remaining two are local.

This tournament, organized with more than 100 international cricketers and 24 Emirati cricketers, has already received a good response. There will be a total of 34 matches in this tournament. In the final on February 12, the name of the champion will be known.
