Bangladesh stunned World Champions England as they defeated them 3-0 in the recently concluded T20I series. Following England’s humiliating defeat, former England captain Michael Vaughan once again managed to capture headlines through his comments.

After Vaughan’s recent controversies with Wasim Jaffer, a Twitter user also came forward to poke fun at the Englishman. After Virat Kohli scored the 75th century of his career, Vaughan came forward and tweeted about his magnificent ton. He also opined that many more centuries could be along the way for the ace batter.

Replying to that tweet, a user wrote, “Do Twitt (tweet) about world champion they lost in Bangladesh 3-0.”

Michael Vaughan came up with a savage reply as he pointed out team India’s failure to win the World Cup in recent years and how following England’s steps could be the way to World Cup glory for them.

“They did .. But they are still world champions .. England seem to be very good at peaking for the World Cups now. .. it’s a good trait to have .. India should try and follow suit,” Vaughan tweeted.

Bangladesh humiliated England in T20I series

Shakib Al Hasan’s Bangladesh pulled off an amazing victory against England in the recently concluded T20I series. The first game saw Bangladesh register an emphatic victory by six wickets. Despite Jos Buttler’s score of 67, the hosts were able to chase down the target thanks to fabulous knocks by Najmul Hossain Shanto and Shakib Al Hassan.

The second game saw Bangladesh once again replicate their success. As the hosts wrapped up the series after winning the first two matches, they further worsened the situation for England by beating them in the third game as well. As they notched up 158 runs on the board, excellent bowling display by Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman propelled them to a 3-0 series win.
