Top 3 knocks by Shimron Hetmyer in ODI format 

West Indies star batter Shimron Odilon Hetmyer is considered one of the best batters in the world owing to his ability to hit wonderful shots. The left-handed batter made his ODI debut on December 20 against New Zealand. The star batter has scored 1447 runs from 47 ODIs, featuring five centuries so far in his career. 1. 139 runs against India 

Shimron Hetmyer’s highest knock is 139 runs against India on June 15, 2019 in Chennai. Notably, on that day, the Virat Kohli-led India side posted a score of 287 runs for the visitors during the first ODI. Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer (70) was the highest run scorer for his side. Later, while chasing, the Pollard-led side won that match with 13 balls to spare. The 26-year-old batter’s knocks included 11 fours and 7 sixes, for which he was given the Player of the Match award.

2. 127 runs against UAE 

The left-handed batter had scored 127 runs against UAE on March 6, 2018, during the Cricket World Cup Qualifier match. Notably, on that day, Hetmyer struck 127 runs from 93 balls, featuring 14 fours and four sixes, which enabled their side to post a total of 357 runs. West Indies legend Chris Gayle also hammered 123 runs during the same inning. Later, while chasing, UAE could only rack up 297 runs in 50 overs, which allowed Jason Holder’s side to register the victory by 60 runs.

3. 125 runs against Bangladesh

One of the great hitter’s third-highest knocks came against Bangladesh on July 25, 2018. Notably, on that day, the 26-year-old batter had amassed 125 runs from 93 balls, featuring three boundaries and seven sixes, with a strike rate of 145. His magnificent knock helped Jason Holder’s side post the target of 271 runs before getting all-out. Later, while chasing, the visitors fought well but fell short of three runs. Following this win, the Windies were able to level the series at 1-1 after a three-run victory in the second ODI.
