WTC 2023 Final: On-field umpire Richard Illingworth hilariously pleads fan to vacate sight-screen area

India and Australia are currently facing each other in the summit clash of the World Test Championship 2021-23 at The Oval, London. The finale began on June 7, and Day 3 witnessed Australia bowling India out to get on with their second innings. Indian bowlers got early breakthroughs as they dismissed the Australian openers, but a hilarious incident took place on the field during the third session.

The on-field umpire Richard Illingworth was seen urging a fan to clear the sight screen, but what caught attention was his way of doing the same. Richard joined both his hands while requesting the fan to clear the area, and a picture of him pleading to the fan soon went viral.
