Bangladesh (BAN) square off against Sri Lanka (SL) in the Bronze Medal Match of the 2026 Asian Games Men’s Cricket event at the Korogi Sports Park, Nisshin, on Saturday, October 3.

Litton Das’ side were beaten in a close contest in a game reduced to 13 overs against Pakistan. The Tigers managed a score of 111 for 7, which they failed to defend, losing by six wickets. They will be looking to put up a better showing in their next match, which has stakes in the form of the Bronze medal.

Sri Lanka come into this clash on the back of a thrashing at the hands of tournament favourites India, bundled out for just 45 after conceding a total of 169 for 7. The Lankan side will be looking to put up a more respectable performance to seal the bronze medal and return home with a more respectable result.

No significant absences

The pitch is expected to be slow, favouring spinners and offering turn of the surface. Batters will need to get their eye in before taking on the responsibility of making a big score.
