The 1st Test of the India tour of Sri Lanka 2026 will see Sri Lanka take on India from Saturday, August 15, at the Galle International Stadium, Galle. The Test will run from August 15 to 19 and forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

India will, however, be without Jasprit Bumrah, who was ruled out of the Sri Lanka series because of a knee injury and replaced by Auqib Nabi.
