Star India batter Virat Kohli has come forward to congratulate Ajinkya Rahane following the latter’s retirement from international cricket. Rahane decided to hang up his boots from all formats of international cricket on Thursday, July 30, leaving the fraternity in a state of shock.

Kohli has said that Rahane has done wonders for the betterment of Indian cricket and that he can be proud of whatever he has achieved. He gave a special mention to Rahane’s exceptional fielding skills, being one of the most trustworthy fielders in the slips. Beyond that, the legendary cricketer also said that Rahane happened to be his favourite batting partner in red-ball cricket.
