Punjab Kings (PBKS) are set to face the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala in match No. 55 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday, May 11.

Shreyas Iyer and Co. had a tremendous start to the season as they won six out of their first seven games. However, they have lost three games in a row now and would want to return to winning ways as the race to the playoffs intensifies.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals are all but out of the playoff race. They have just four wins and seven losses after playing 11 matches. They can reach a maximum of 14 points. However, DC have lost five of their last six matches, and the morale in the camp must be low.

Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala Pitch Report

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala mostly provides great batting surfaces. The ball comes onto the bat nicely, and because of the high altitude, the air is thinner, offering less resistance to the ball and making it easier to go for sixes. As this is the first game of the season at this venue, it is natural for the teams to be a bit circumspect about the conditions.
