Star batter David Miller has explained how Delhi Capitals (DC) can make it through to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 playoffs with four league-stage encounters remaining in their campaign in the marquee T20 tournament. Miller is aware of the fact that DC need to win all of their remaining clashes to give themselves the best chance of making it through to the top four of the competition.

With four matches remaining, the Capitals have currently played ten games, emerging as winners on four occasions, taking their tally to eight points. If they pull off a win in all of their remaining games, they can reach a maximum of sixteen (16) points, which will make them a contender for a playoffs berth, given all the stars fall in place.

“It is four from four. We pretty much need to win now. We have to win four from four to have a chance of qualifying, so it becomes really important,” Miller explained at the pre-match press conference ahead of the DC’s upcoming clash against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Despite a below-par campaign, where DC have let a few games slip from their grip, Miller has assured that the atmosphere in the team is quite lively, and there hasn’t been any sort of finger-pointing at any player(s) for the loss(es). The South African cricketer believes that their unit are confident of putting themselves in a good position to make it further in the tournament.

“I think we are in a position where we have spoken that it is all of us together. Win or lose, we are together. And there is no pointing any fingers at all with what we have done. We are all in it together. And the reality is we have got four games to win. So if we do that, then we are putting ourselves in a good position,” Miller expressed.

Speaking of DC’s remaining fixtures, they will be up against KKR on Friday, May 08, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. They then have matches against Punjab Kings (May 11), Rajasthan Royals (May 17), and then a reverse fixture against KKR (May 24), which will decide the fate of the Axar Patel-led unit in IPL 2026.
