In the 29th match of the PSL 2026, Karachi Kings (KAR) will take on Multan Sultans (MUL). Karachi Kings had a disappointing performance in their previous match, suffering an 8-wicket defeat against Islamabad United. Batting first, Karachi managed to post a strong total of 150 runs, but Islamabad successfully chased it down in 16 overs. Reeza Hendricks was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 51 runs off 44 deliveries, while Jason Roy also made a valuable contribution with 39 runs. In the bowling department, Multan bowlers did not put up a good performance as only Hasan Ali and Moeen Ali took a wicket each, while the rest of the bowlers remained wicketless and ineffective.

On the other hand, Multan Sultans also didn’t perform well in the previous game as they lost by 24 runs against Peshawar Zalmi. Peshawar came to bat first, scoring 196 runs; in response, Multan Sultans managed to score only 172. Multan got a good start from the top order as Steve Smith batted brilliantly for them, scoring 31 runs, while Shan Masood played an innings of 35 runs. But despite the good innings of the top order, the middle order could not perform well, and Multan lost the match.

In the bowling department for Multan, Muhammad Ismail stood out as the top performer with the ball and took two wickets for 22 runs; apart from him, Peter Siddle also bowled well and took two wickets.
