आगामी BGT में मुंबई-कोलकाता को मेजबानी न मिलने पर बीसीसीआई की हुई आलोचना

भारतीय क्रिकेट नियंत्रण बोर्ड द्वारा 2026-27 के घरेलू सीजन का शेड्यूल जारी होने के बाद एक नया विवाद सामने आ गया है। खासकर बॉर्डर-गावस्कर ट्रॉफी 2027 के मैचों के वेन्यू को लेकर फैंस काफी नाराज नजर आ रहे हैं।

यह टेस्ट सीरीज भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया राष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट टीम के बीच खेली जाएगी, जिसकी शुरुआत जनवरी 2027 के अंत में होगी। इस सीरीज में कुल पांच टेस्ट मैच होंगे, लेकिन इनमें से केवल पहले दो मैच ही पारंपरिक और बड़े टेस्ट केंद्रों पर खेले जाएंगे।

पहला टेस्ट नागपुर के विदर्भ क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन स्टेडियम में होगा, जबकि दूसरा मुकाबला चेन्नई के ऐतिहासिक एम.ए. चिदंबरम स्टेडियम में खेला जाएगा। ये दोनों मैदान लंबे समय से टेस्ट क्रिकेट के प्रमुख केंद्र रहे हैं।

हालांकि, इसके बाद के तीन मैच गुवाहाटी, रांची और अहमदाबाद में आयोजित किए जाएंगे। यही फैसला फैंस को पसंद नहीं आया है। सोशल मीडिया पर कई क्रिकेट प्रेमियों ने इस पर नाराजगी जताई है और इसे “सर्कस” तक कह दिया है।

फैंस का मानना है कि इतनी बड़ी और प्रतिष्ठित सीरीज के बाकी मैच भी भारत के बड़े और ऐतिहासिक स्टेडियम में होने चाहिए थे। कई लोगों ने वानखेड़े स्टेडियम, ईडन गार्डन्स और एम. चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम जैसे प्रतिष्ठित मैदानों का नाम लिया।

उनका कहना है कि ऑस्ट्रेलिया जैसी मजबूत और विश्व चैंपियन टीम के खिलाफ मैच इन बड़े स्टेडियम में होने चाहिए थे, ताकि मुकाबले का स्तर और माहौल दोनों बेहतर हो सके।

कुल मिलाकर, BGT 2027 को लेकर उत्साह तो है, लेकिन वेन्यू चयन ने फैंस को निराश किया है। अब यह देखना दिलचस्प होगा कि BCCI इस आलोचना पर क्या प्रतिक्रिया देता है और भविष्य में अपने फैसलों में क्या बदलाव करता है।

People talk about games not allotted to major centres. But that has not been happening for many years now.

Proper rotation not being followed with some venues getting too many games should be discussed more. And those venues are not traditional marquee venues.
