The Mumbai Indians have long been synonymous with dominance and championship pedigree in the Indian Premier League. With five IPL titles to their name, MI have consistently produced explosive batting line-ups that can dismantle any bowling attack on their day.

As IPL 2026 approaches, Mumbai once again possess a dynamic group of batters capable of shifting the momentum of a game within a few overs. From power-packed stroke-makers at the top to dependable finishers in the middle order, MI’s batting depth remains one of their biggest strengths.

Here are the top three Mumbai Indians batters to watch out for in IPL 2026:

3. Will Jacks

The batting all-rounder from England, Will Jacks will be a deadly option with the bat for the five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians. Jacks can slot in at any batting position and still have an impact on the outcome of the contest. He was phenomenal for the Three Lions in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2026, as he won the Player of the Match award for a staggering four times.

In eight innings, he scored 226 runs at a strike rate of 176.56. MI will most probably give him the finishing duties along with Hardik Pandya, and on a batting-friendly Wankhede pitch, as he can dismantle any bowling attack.

2. Rohit Sharma

The five-time IPL winning captain for Mumbai Indians, the spotlight will once again be on Rohit Sharma. Having scored more that 7000 runs in the league, he remains one of the most impactful batters for his side. In the 2025 edition, the right-handed opener was in fine touch, scoring 418 runs at a strike rate of 149.29.

With a new and attacking batting mindset, and a visible improvement in fitness, Rohit can spring a surprise this season with the bat for MI. He will be opening the batting for them, and if he is in good touch, Rohit can be a nightmare for any bowler.

Suryakumar Yadav

The Indian World Cup winning captain Suryakumar Yadav will once again don the iconic Blue jersey for Mumbai Indians. Despite not being in great form, one can never count him out, as the Mumbai batter has the ability to win games on his own. The Wankhede pitch suits his extravagant batting style, and he makes the most out of it.

The former No. 1 T20I batter in the world had a stellar 2025 IPL, scoring 717 runs at a strike rate more than 176 for the five-time champions. If Suryakumar delivers with the bat, MI will be in a great position.
