Shadab Khan makes an entry into Pakistan’s best bowlers, and he was nowhere close to his best throughout the competition, and that tells the story of Pakistan’s campaign.

The leg-spinner picked up just five wickets in just six innings, with a bowling average of 30.40 and an economy rate of over eight runs per over. His best outing with the ball came against Namibia when he picked up three wickets giving away just 19 runs.

The left-arm pacer picked up eight wickets in five innings for his team. He was also dropped from the playing XI after multiple underwhelming outings. He came back strongly and gave his best performance of the tournament when he picked up four wickets against England.

The mystery spinner from Pakistan made headlines all over the world for his unique bowling style. Usman Tariq made a mark with his quality performances in this campaign and became an instant talking point due to his unusual pause and release action that messed up the batters’ timing.

He picked up 10 wickets for Pakistan in just five innings with the ball, at an economy rate 7.23, which indicates how well he bowled for the Men in Green. His best figures came against Namibia when he picked up four wickets while only conceding 16 runs. However, his efforts were not enough to take Pakistan past the Super 8 stage as they were knocked out due to their inferior net run rate.
