The Big Bash League (BBL) returns for its fifteenth edition in 2025-26, as the marquee event is set to get underway on Sunday, December 14 to kick-start the proceedings. To mark the commencement of the 2025-26 season, the Perth Scorchers will be hosting the Sydney Sixers in the opening match of the league stage at the Perth Stadium on Sunday. The top four teams on the points table at the end of the 40 league stage games will be making it to the knockouts, with the finale set to be played on January 25. As a result, the teams will want to go all guns blazing and are set to entertain the fans with their blitzkrieg on the field.
