Head made 62 runs off 48 deliveries before getting out in the 15th over. Australia lost the wickets of Marnus Labuschagne and Glenn Maxwell by the time the 25th over was completed. Australia lost two more wickets before reaching the 200-run mark but Starc (16 runs) and Cummins (14 runs) finished the match for Australia.
The team took 47.2 overs to reach the target of 213 runs and won the match by three wickets. Head won the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance.
