She has scored nine half-centuries in the tournament, which is the most by a Proteas Women batter. In 2025, she is the leading run-scorer for South Africa and scored 348 runs in nine games at an average of 38.66.

2. Marizanne Kapp

Kapp is the second-highest wicket-taker for South Africa in the Women’s World Cup. She has taken 32 wickets in 22 games at an average of 22.87. Kapp is one of the two South African bowlers who have taken a five-wicket haul in the World Cup. With the bat, she has scored 451 runs in 20 outings at an average of 28.18 and has made one century.

3. Sune Luus

Sune Luus has played eight ODI games this year so far and has scored 213 runs at an average of 30.42. In the Women’s World Cup, Luus has amassed 351 runs in 17 games at an average of 29.25. She has taken 11 wickets as well at an average of 32.09.
