WI vs PAK 2025: West Indies vs Pakistan, 1st T20I Match Preview

The first T20I of the three-match series between West Indies (WI) and Pakistan (PAK) will get underway on Friday, August 1. This series-opening encounter is scheduled to be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill.

West Indies’ recent 20-over assignment was offered little to remember for the hosts. Australia were completely all over them in the five-match series. It was only the second time in the history of T20I cricket that a side has been whitewashed in a five-match series.

Pakistan are coming off a 2-1 series loss against Bangladesh. Although they thoroughly dominated the third match of the series, their batting line up in particular was completely battered in the first two games. Shaheen Shah Afridi makes his return to the T20I squad.
