WCL 2025: Predicting Australia XI for match 14

Australia Champions will face Pakistan Champions in the 14th match of the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL 2025) in Leicester on July 29.

Australia Champions have played three games and have won two of them, with one game being washed out. They are coming off a four-wicket win over India Champions. They will now face Pakistan, who have won all three games they have played thus far.

Here is the predicted Australia XI for match 12 of the WCL 2025:

Top Order:  

Chris Lynn continues to be the best batter of the Australian team with 106 runs in two innings. His highest has been 81, and his runs have come at a strike rate of 286.48. Shaun Marsh is likely to captain Australia again. He has scored 18 runs in three innings thus far. Australia will wait for a big knock for him, given his class. D’Arcy Short has scored 38 runs at a strike rate of 140.74, justifying his spot in the top order.

Middle Order:  

Ben Dunk has scored 30 runs at a strike rate of 300 in two innings and continues to be a threat for the opposition. Callum Ferguson played a brilliant knock of 70* to take Australia to the win over India in their last game. Dan Christian made 39 runs in the same game and has three wickets to his name as well.

Lower Order:  

Ben Cutting has only scored 15 runs in one knock and is yet to bowl an over. Rob Quiney replaced Brett Lee in the Australia XI for the India match and is expected to keep his place.

Bowlers:  

Nathan Coulter-Nile has three wickets thus far. But Peter Siddle has been the best bowler for Australia with four wickets and a best of 3/28. Steve O’Keefe remains their main spinner with two wickets in three games thus far.
