Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a dominating 110-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 68 of IPL 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This win was SRH’s sixth of the season as they ended a quite underwhelming campaign.
SRH got to a mammoth total of 278/3 at the end of their 20-over quota. Heinrich Klaasen (105* off 39) smashed the ball to every part of the ground to carve his name into history. The fifth and sixth balls of the eighth over produced successive wickets of Rinku and Russell. Those couple of wickets meant half of KKR’s side was back in the shed by the eighth over, ending any hopes of a late resurgence from KKR.

Pandey and Harshit fought it out in the middle to bring some respectability to the total. Their 52-run stand for the eighth wicket came off just 22 balls. It was KKR’s highest partnership in their pursuit of chasing down 279 for victory.
