'Stay safe, everyone!' - Rohit Sharma alarms Indian citizens to take precautions amidst Indo-Pak war

The increasing state of conflict between India and Pakistan led to the suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 tournament for an indefinite period. Rohit Sharma, who was representing the Mumbai Indians side in the competition, has now come forward to put his opinion on the swift attacks carried out by the Indian Army, Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force to resist and retaliate against the Pakistani enemy forces.

Taking to his official social media handle, the Indian cricketer has expressed his pride in the decisions taken by the naval, armed and air force arms of the Indian defence system. Rohit has also urged all the Indian citizens to be responsible and not spread unnecessary news, the sources of which may be unverified, and it might be fake or misleading. Lastly, he also demanded the citizens of the country to be a courteous towards their own safety.

“With every passing moment, with every decision taken I feel extremely proud of our Indian Army, Indian Airforce & Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing tall for our nation’s pride. It’s important for every Indian to be responsible and refrain from spreading or believing any fake news. Stay safe, everyone!,” he shared via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Meanwhile, RCB batter Mayank Agarwal also forwarded his regards to the Indian Armed Forces via social media. He said that if the nation is safe, it is because of the brave, sacrificing acts shown by the courageous soldiers serving the motherland at the border.

“The safety of our motherland and the silent but tremendous assurance that lives in our hearts is possible because of the bravery, sacrifices, and presence of our Armed Forces. Truly grateful and immensely proud. Jai Hind,” Mayank wrote on X.
