BCCI president explained the reason for organizing women’s IPL

নারীদের আইপিএল আয়োজনের কারণ জানালেন বিসিসিআই সভাপতি

Women’s IPL is going to start this year for the first time. The women’s IPL has become a craze even before it starts. Its auction has already been completed. But why did the Indian Cricket Board suddenly start this women’s IPL? Now the Indian Cricket Board President Roger Binny himself answered this question.

The men’s IPL started in 2008. This franchise league has been very popular since its inception. Some star cricketers emerge from this league almost every year. Some of India’s star cricketers like Hardik Pandya, Yashpreet Bumrah, and Yuzvendra Chahal have emerged from IPL. While Bumrah is now one of the best bowlers in the world, Hardik has taken himself to the point with his all-round performances that he is now being considered for the captaincy of the national team. A bunch of star cricketers will emerge from the women’s IPL wanted by BCCI. And this is the reason to start the women’s IPL.

BCCI president Roger Binny said in an interview, “The purpose of this women’s competition is to bring new cricketers. Through this, many cricketers will emerge from international cricket. Besides, many will emerge from domestic cricket. Young and new cricketers will get a chance to match themselves. And this is the benefit of Indian cricket. The main aim of this competition is to bring out more cricketers for India who will dominate world cricket. “

Women’s cricket in India has come a long way compared to the past. Indian women cricketers are doing great in various ICC competitions. Bini is hopeful that the quality of the women’s league will increase further. She said, “Women’s IPL is a new milestone for Indian cricket. This year we started a new journey. Hope this journey will be good for Indian cricket. The standard of Indian cricket is improving day by day. We believe our new competition will further enrich that standard. “

It is to be noted that several women cricketers in India are millionaires before the women’s IPL is launched on the field. National team cricketers Smriti Mandhana, and Harmanpreet Kaurra were sold for crores of rupees. And this women’s IPL is starting next March. IPL chairman Arun Dhamal said in a statement that the women’s IPL will be held from March 4 to 26.
