Towards the end, Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten on 34 off 18 balls, while Ashutosh Sharma added a handy 15* from 11 balls, helping the team reach a competitive total of 188.

Rajasthan Royals’ bowling attack had mixed fortunes. Jofra Archer was the standout with figures of 2 for 32 in his four overs, while Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana chipped in with a wicket each. Sandeep Sharma was economical at times but also leaked runs through wides, conceding five of them. The Royals would have been slightly disappointed with their bowling discipline, which allowed Delhi to push beyond the 180-mark.

In response, Rajasthan Royals came out with purpose. Yashasvi Jaiswal was in exceptional form, blasting 51 off 37 balls with three fours and four sixes. Sanju Samson contributed a rapid 31 before retiring hurt, briefly halting the momentum of the chase. Riyan Parag found it tough to get going, scoring just 8 off 11 balls before being dismissed by Axar Patel.

However, Nitish Rana shifted the balance in Rajasthan’s favor with a brutal 51 off 28 balls, which included six fours and two sixes. As the chase neared its conclusion, Dhruv Jurel played a fiery knock, adding 26 off 17 balls. Unfortunately for RR, his run-out off the final ball of the innings meant they finished on 188 for 4, leveling the scores and sending the match into a Super Over.

Mitchell Starc, who was named Player of the Match, delivered a crucial spell for Delhi Capitals, taking 1 for 36 and bowling under pressure. Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel were economical and picked up key wickets. The game then moved to a dramatic Super Over, where the Capitals held their nerve to seal the win in front of a roaring home crowd.
