In the match against PBKS, Devon Conway became the third-fastest batter to score 1000 or more IPL runs. The southpaw took just 24 innings to reach the milestone. Conway made his IPL debut in 2022 with CSK and has been a part of their franchise since then. The Kiwi batter has 10 fifty-plus scores to his name so far. The New Zealand dasher has always been one of the crucial players on the team. The opening batter has played a giant role in guiding CSK to win the title back in 2023. Conway still has many more chances to register big milestones to his name as a part of the IPL 2025.
Lendl Simmons (23 innings)
Lendl Simmons was an integral part of Mumbai Indians in 2014-17. He scored 1079 runs in 29 matches at an average of 39.96 in the period. The West Indian batter took just 23 innings to score 1000+ runs in the league. In MI’s title-winning season in 2015, he scored 540 runs at an average of 45.00. He was also a part of MI’s title-winning campaign in 2017.
Shaun Marsh (21 innings)
Shaun Marsh will forever be remembered as one of the best IPL batters in the first few seasons of the league. The Southpaw was the inaugural Orange Cap winner, as he scored 616 runs in just 11 innings. He continued the momentum until 2011 when he scored his 1000th IPL run in just his 21st inning in the league.
