IPL 2025: RR vs CSK, Match 11 – Full highlights, top moments & winner details

IPL 2025’s Match No. 11 was won by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six runs on Sunday, March 30. With this, RR finally got their first points on the board this season, with Riyan Parag ready to hand over the captaincy with a win under his belt.

Nitish Rana exploded in the powerplay, getting to his 19th IPL half-century within the first six overs itself. Sanju Samson departed for a 16-ball 20. Nitish was all set to get to his maiden ton in the marquee T20 tournament. Other than Shimron Hetmyer, no other batter entered double-digit scores thereafter. Noor Ahmad and Matheesha Pathirana ended up with identical figures of 2/28 in four overs.

It was quite a laggard start for CSK. Although losing only one wicket, they only managed to score 42 runs in their powerplay. Ruturaj Gaikwad stuck along for a long time. However, he perished for a valiant 63-run knock. It was always going to be an uphill task with the required run rate steeply rising. Ravindra Jadeja ended up unbeaten on 32 off 22 deliveries. Wanindu Hasaranga was the star for RR, who picked up a four-wicket haul.

Key Moments from RR vs CSK, Match 11 of IPL 2025

1. Nitish Rana powers RR to a scorching start

After a couple of lacklustre knocks in the opening two games of the IPL, Rana finally came to his team’s rescue with a blazing effort with the bat. Rana’s counter-attack against Ashwin was a momentum-lifter for him and RR. He completed his half-century within the powerplay itself.

2. Riyan Parag plucks out blinder

A floated delivery by Hasaranga was struck quite firmly by Dube. However, Parag was sprung across the turf to hang on to a stunner of a one-handed grab at extra cover. The dangerous-looking Dube was dismissed for 18 off 10 deliveries.

3. Wanindu Hasaranga halts chase with a four-wicket haul

It was an inspired performance from the leg-spinning all-rounder, whose consistency paid immense dividends. Apart from the Vijay Shankar delivery which hit the timber, the other three dismissals of Hasaranga were via being caught by the fielders.
