Currently, Kuldeep Yadav is one of the best spin bowlers for India. His left-arm wrist spin bowling makes him a key player for the team. Since making his debut for KKR in 2016 he reached new heights in his career. During his time with KKR from 2016 to 2021 he made himself one of the best wrist-spinners in the IPL league. But in 2022 KKR dropped him from the squad due to poor form and hampered with injuries. 

He made a spectacular return after being signed by the Delhi Capitals (DC) in 2022, and he now plays a vital role in their bowling assault.  Since he was retained by the Delhi Capitals prior to the mega auction, Kuldeep Yadav remains the team’s core as of the IPL 2025 season. 1. 4/13 (3) vs KKR in IPL 2022

While playing against his former IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders Kuldeep Yadav created havoc with his bowling. Delhi Capitals posted a total of  215 runs and KKR started the run chase with a good start. Kuldeep Yadav’s first wicket came of KKR captain Shreyas Iyer who scored 42 runs. Later he picked up 3 wickets and in total, he got four wickets and gave 13 runs in three overs. Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling helped Delhi Capitals to win the match.

2. 4/20 (4) vs RR in IPL 2018

While playing for KKR in the league game against Rajasthan Royals Kuldeep Yadav picked four wickets and helped KKR to win the match. Kuldeep Yadav picked the inform batter Jos Buttler as his first wicket. Later he got Ajinkya Rahane, Ben Stokes and Stuart Binny as Rajasthan Royals’ middle order failed to score runs against him. 

3. 4/35 (4) vs KKR, Brabourne, 2022

Delhi Capitals again faced Kolkata Knight Riders and the Kolkata Knight Riders again faced the same problem. This time Kuldeep Yadav picked four wickets and gave 34 runs in over fours. The inform Shreyas Iyer was his first wicket as he gave breakthrough the team. Later Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine and Umesh Yadav all fell to Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling as Delhi Capitals won the by 44 runs. Kuldeep Yadav won the Man of the Match award for his performance.
